Big Sunday at Pebble Beach for the AT&T, with Lefty and Tiger paired together.
Big Sunday upon us with Charlie Wi as the over night leader paired with Ken Duke and their pro-am partners, while Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods are paired together. Charile Wi played Spyglass Hill on Saturday said to be the toughest of the courses, but with wind effecting the other two courses more, Charlie was protected in the Del Monte Forest and he would shoot a bogey-free 69 to hold his 3-shot lead going into Sunday.
Ken Duke is a great story, as he is back up to the PGA-Tour with limited access after dropping down to the Nationwide Tour last year and earning his card back. Ken is paired with Tom Dreesen the comic that opened for Frank Sinatra for years. Another celebrity making the cut, and for the first time is Ray Romano who was on a mission to make that cut and that worked out for him this year.
The focus Sunday will be on the pairing of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Will they go toe-to-toe and get into a slugfest that will blow them out of contention? Or will they draft off of each other and shoot special scores and swoop past Wi and Duke.
It will be a really fun Sunday to watch, could be the big break-through that Tiger has been looking for...but with Phil being a 3-time winner at Pebble Beach will he use the local knowledge to punch his ticket.
Sit back and enjoy.
