It’s time to make a pick for the 2007 PGA champion, and mine is…K. J. Choi.
He would fill out a slate of a major winner from all four parts of the globe this year, and would also complete the circle of all of the winners capturing their first major.
If you want to go with the All-American apple pie approach to a winner because it is the PGA, being American grown and being in the heart land of our country, go with Steve Stricker. Chris DiMarco might also be a solid pick. Both are on the comeback trail, playing well and are straight hitters, quite necessary for this very demanding driving course.
Oh sure, Tiger will likely win especially after his stomping of big-mouth Rory Sabbatini in the Bridgestone, so if you want to go with the favorite, stick with Tiger.
Rory…he should let his clubs do the talking, like Tiger did.
